Concerning the experiment carried out jointly by the National Association for Gene Security and the Institute of Ecological and Evolutional Problems, Dr. Alexei Surov has this to say. “We selected several groups of hamsters, kept them in pairs in cells and gave them ordinary food as always,” says Alexei Surov. “We did not add anything for one group but the other was fed with soya that contained no GM components, while the third group with some content of Genetically Modified Organisms and the fourth one with increased amount of GMO.

"We monitored their behavior and how they gain weight and when they give birth to their cubs. Originally, everything went smoothly. However, we noticed quite a serious effect when we selected new pairs from their cubs and continued to feed them as before. These pairs’ growth rate was slower and reached their sexual maturity slowly. When we got some of their cubs we formed the new pairs of the third generation. We failed to get cubs from these pairs, which were fed with GM foodstuffs. It was proved that these pairs lost their ability to give birth to their cubs,” Dr. Alexei Surov said.
Vitamin C: A Second Look
Right now I just want to offer a little more context and explain why it is my impression that "vitamin C would be a helpful medicine in cancer therapy," needs to be shouted from the roof-tops, not treated as some sort of embarrassing controversy .There have been chemotherapeutics approved by the FDA which have very small to even ZERO affect on survival time, these having been approved from a surrogate marker of say a blood tumor marker or radiographic evidence of disease progression. These therapies are often horrifically toxic and greatly diminish the quality of life in the patient while barely if at all prolonging life. They are also generally quite expensive.
Here we have in vitamin C a therapy that costs maybe $2/day (or is that the rub), is incredibly safe and shows some of the most dramatic improvements in survival time in patients terminally ill with cancer (i.e. where orthodox Western medicine had nothing more to offer and had given up on further curative treatment) perhaps ever published and the effects are seen throughout a broad spectrum of cancers.

Censured doctor says he'll resume autism research in Austin
Andrew Wakefield, the British doctor who came to Austin after fueling a worldwide scare over vaccines and autism, said Wednesday that he expects to have his British medical license yanked next week in a final effort by the mainstream medical establishment to silence him and stop his research.It won't work, said Wakefield, who insisted he is more convinced than ever that he was right 12 years ago when he suggested a link between vaccines, gastrointestinal illness and autism, despite scientific studies contradicting such a link.
Wakefield's new book, "Callous Disregard," will be out Monday, the same day the General Medical Council is scheduled to decide whether to invalidate his license. The book gives Wakefield's side of the story and lays out what he thinks was behind his prosecution: an effort by the vaccine industry to stop him from probing into vaccines that could be causing harm.
Vaccines, Autism, and the Precautionary Principle
The Precautionary Principle dictates that, except in an emergency situation or when no other course of action is possible, any medical course of action of potential harm must first be tested for safety. Complying with this principle is especially imperative when the subjects involved are infants and children and when the nature of the risk includes the possibility of permanent neurological damage. So how complete is the understanding of cervical cancer that we can create a preventive vaccine? Well cervical cancer is said to be caused by human papiloma virus though I believe a more accurate description, and to its credit Wikipedia uses the term, is that HPV is a "risk factor" for cervical cancer. Put another way it is seen in association with cervical cancer. As the cliche goes, association is not causation. It might, for example, be possible that susceptibility to infection with HPV is a marker for a genetic or environmentally induced immune system failure which would also predispose to cancer. In which case, even successful prevention of HPV infection would have zero effect on cancer prevalence.

USA: Medicating more and more children
For the second year in a row, the growth in the use of prescription drugs by youngsters exceeded all other age groups. In fact, the increase was nearly four times higher than in the overall population, partly because there were a slew of new indications for existing meds that traditionally treat “adult diseases, according to the latest annual report from Medco Health Solutions.More than one in four insured children in the US and nearly 30 percent of adolescents aged 10 to 19 took at least one prescription med to treat a chronic condition last year.

Dr Samantha Hollingworth, Senior Research Fellow at the School of of Population Health, said the study found very high prescribing rates in older Australians, especially those over 85 years old despite national mental health data indicating that depression and anxiety was a decreasing problem in this age group."While the under 50s have a higher prevalence of depression and anxiety, it is the over 85s who are receiving the most medication," Dr Hollingworth said.
Sounds like old folks (just like kids) are receiving antidepressants instead of care and attention.Too much prescribing of ... what do they call it .... chemical cosh. A cosh, I had to look it up, is a bludgeon, a blunt stick like the police uses, to strike someone down with.

'Naked' scanners may increase cancer risk
US scientists are warning that radiation from controversial full-body airport scanners has been dangerously underestimated and could lead to an increased risk of skin cancer - particularly in children.University of California biochemist David Agard said that unlike other scanners, the radiation from these devices is delivered at low energy beam levels, with most of the dose concentrated in the skin and underlying tissue.
“While the dose would be safe if it were distributed throughout the volume of the entire body, the dose to the skin may be dangerously high,” Dr Agard said.

microwave signal is modulated.The effects of the radiation on cryptochrome can be eradicated by removing the
part of the lower sideband of the transmissions that overlaps with the
cryptochrome frequencies.Most of the remainder can be attributed to the apparent ability of living cells to
demodulate the signal so as to extract biologically-active low frequencies. The
challenge to the Industry is to develop methods of modulation that do not
generate these frequencies or to make them invisible to living cells. This should
not be too difficult since we have at our disposal many highly sophisticated
modulation techniques, but the living cell has little more than the equivalent of a
simple untuned diode to detect it. By paying careful attention to the way in which
the signal is encoded, it should be possible to avoid having biologically active low
frequencies. Another possibility is to transmit two mirror image signals on slightly
different carrier frequencies. If living cells do not have the ability to distinguish
between the two carrier frequencies, they will cancel each other out and the
signal will appear to them as if it is unmodulated. Neither of these are beyond the
wit of man, but until these problems are solved, no new wireless technologies
should be rolled out and any existing products that fail the sperm test should be
withdrawn as soon as possible.
